New Snare, New Hi-Hat, New Stand!
Roland introduces the newest member of its award-winning V-Drums® line: the TD-6KW, which succeeds the TD-6KV. The TD-6KW features a new type mesh snare pad (PDX-8) and an improved, enlarged hi-hat cymbal pad (CY-5). Also new for ’06 is the MDS-6C drum stand (sold separately), an excellent match for the TD-6KW with attractive curved pipes and gun-metal black finish.

MDS-6C Drum Stand
- New snare mesh pad (PDX-8) with expanded 10-inch rim size to improve the playability of rim shots.

Brain Power
The core of the TD-6KW kit is the TD-6V Percussion Sound Module, a 64-voice module that offers over 1,000 of Roland’s best drum/percussion sounds. Dual-trigger tom inputs allow for rim shots on toms. Large, luminous buttons and a cool, blue display make the TD-6V fun and friendly to use.
Upright Kick
Drummers will appreciate the TD-6KW’s upright kick drum pad. Its vertical design not only provides a better feel compared to reverse-type kick pads, but also reduces vibration so you get nothing but solid kick sounds. And here’s more good news: the kick pad can accommodate double-bass pedals.
PDX-8 V-Pad
Roland’s newest mesh V-Pad (PDX-8) offers an expanded 10-inch rim for more comfortable and quiet rim-shots, as well as separate head and rim triggering for authentic performance.
CY-5 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad
The newly designed cymbal pad (CY-5) features a 12-inch playing zone and swing movement for more drummer-friendly triggering. The pad also provides separate bow and edge triggering. The CY-5 can also be used as an additional cymbal pad, such as a splash, on V-Drum kits.
MDS-6C Drum Stand
This attractive new rack is a great match for the TD-6KW. Sold separately, it features curved pipes and a gun-metal black finish.
